Blood in Electric BlueHere's the latest: In March, Delirium Books will be releasing the paperback edition of my novel DOMINION (the hardcover is still available as well), and they'll also be releasing my new novel BLOOD IN ELECTRIC BLUE in hardcover (and in a lettered edition, which will include an Afterward from the phenomenal Robert Dunbar, author of THE PINES and THE SHORE) around the same time. Artist Mike Bohatch designed a terrific cover for BLOOD IN ELECTRIC BLUE. Here's a sneak peek (on the right).

It'll be up for preorder soon from the Horror Mall, so check in with them for that and for ALL your horror needs. Shane Staley and Larry Roberts have done a tremendous job with this new and exciting site, so be sure to check it out if you haven't already become a regular there. And be sure to stop by the Greg F. Gifune page on the Horror Mall Message Board under the "Forums" section. On BLOOD IN ELECTRIC BLUE, here's a brief synopsis from the back cover:

Dignon Malloy lives with his cat Tibbs in a rundown apartment in the heart of a dreary, nameless, industrial coastal city. Haunted by dark visions, memories of horrific childhood abuse and the recent murder of a coworker, his is a lonely, sad and painful existence until he ventures into a used bookstore and comes across an old paperback titled Mythical Beings in a Mortal World. Inside, someone has written a name, Bree Harper, and a phone number. Is it an innocent note left by the previous owner, or something far more sinister? As Dignon delves deeper into the book, and who, or possibly what, the beautiful and enigmatic Bree Harper is, he begins to realize finding this book may not have been a random event after all. His life and history may be more complex than he realized, and his role in the universe much deadlier than he ever imagined. As Dignon moves closer to the truth, the lines between pain and beauty, and the horrors of the past and the terrifying realities of the present, become strangely malleable, blurring what is real and what is myth, who and what he and those around him may be, what the ghosts haunting him from his past may truly mean, and how the evil mythological creature stalking him may not be a myth at all, but horrifyingly real.

Once it's released in March, it and the paperback edition of DOMINION will be available at all the usual places.

My novel THE BLEEDING SEASON, released in paperback recently by Delirium Books as the kick-off title for their new paperback book club, is selling very well and reaching a much wider audience than the hardcover edition did. If you haven't grabbed your copy yet, it's available pretty much wherever books are sold, or you can order it from The Horror Mall by clicking here.

My novel DEEP NIGHT continues to sell well in paperback, and is available everywhere as well.

In other news, Delirium Books will be re-releasing my novel SAYING UNCLE at some point this summer in a beautiful limited edition hardcover. It's got a brand new Introduction from the one and only Tom Piccirilli, and I'm thrilled to announce that Delirium has just recently agreed to also release it in a new paperback edition. Stay tuned for more info on both editions and on new cover art.

Another of my previously published novels, A VIEW FROM THE LAKE, will also see a new release through Delirium Books, but the particulars of that haven't been worked out yet. Stay tuned for updates on that as they become available. I'm very pleased to see that A VIEW FROM THE LAKE and SAYING UNCLE will return to print (thanks to Shane Staley at Delirium Books for making this a reality), as I think both represent some of my best work, and now, given the Delirium treatment, they'll finally have the editions and releases I (and many readers) have been hoping they'd receive for a few years now.

2008 is going to be a big year, and will include the release of another original new novel through Delirium, the audio book releases of my novels DRAGO DESCENDING and NIGHT WORK (through The Fiction Works), and a lot more, including a couple projects I can't yet talk about publicly, so be sure to check back with the site often. I'll have more updates and news in the coming weeks.

As always, thank you to everyone for their continued interest and support.

That's all for now.
